Laura Reynolds

Human Resources, Office Manager

Laura Reynolds joined ProEquity Asset Management in February 2024 and brings a people-first approach to human resources, with a strong focus on employee engagement, performance, and long-term retention. In her role as Human Resources / Office Manager, she is responsible for supporting team members across the organization, developing HR strategies, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Her commitment to service and organizational excellence has made her a valued member of the team.

Throughout her time at ProEquity Asset Management, Laura has demonstrated strong capabilities in operations, employee relations, and organizational development. She is known for her empathetic leadership style, proactive approach, and ability to connect with individuals at every level of the company. Laura has also continued to grow professionally, becoming a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and pursuing a Master’s degree in Leadership and Conflict Resolution, further strengthening her ability to support the company’s long-term success.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time in nature, whether hiking, gardening, or paddle boarding. She also values time with family and friends and practices yoga and meditation, reflecting her grounded, thoughtful, and balanced approach to both life and work. She brings this same positive energy and dedication to her role at ProEquity Asset Management, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Brandon Barrett

Corporate Accountant

Brandon Barrett brings a strong foundation in technical accounting, paired with a detail-oriented mindset and a focus on improving processes. He joined the team in December 2025 and is known for his ability to translate complex financial information into clear insights, helping bridge the gap between accounting and operations teams to support smarter decision-making.

Since joining the company, Brandon has played a key role in enhancing the accuracy and consistency of financial reporting while streamlining aspects of the close process. He takes pride in owning complex tasks, refining workflows, and delivering reporting that better supports both asset management and operational performance.

Brandon enjoys working in property and asset management because it connects financial precision with real-world impact. Outside of work, he values maintaining a strong work-life balance and enjoys activities that keep his mind engaged, including documentaries, music, cooking, and creative pursuits. He also spends time outdoors hiking and camping, and values time with family, friends, and his pets. Known for his positive energy and eagerness to learn, Brandon approaches every challenge with enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.

John Mazinga

John Mazinga

Property Manager

John enthusiastically joined the ProEquity team in November of 2023, bringing with him a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Rivier University in Nashua, New Hampshire. His academic background and practical experience have equipped him with a robust understanding of accounting principles and a steadfast commitment to delivering excellence in his role.

In May of 2024, John furthered his education by earning a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management from Rivier University, enhancing his strategic thinking and leadership skills.

Within the supportive and knowledgeable Accounting Team at ProEquity, John has found a fulfilling environment where he can apply his skills and contribute to the team’s success. He is driven by a passion for continuous learning and is excited to delve deeper into the dynamic intersection of asset management and technology, recognizing the profound impact it can have on business operations.

Beyond his professional pursuits, John nurtures his spirit through hiking and immersing himself in nature’s beauty. He also cherishes music for its ability to forge connections and evoke emotions.

Craig Richardson

Corporate Accountant

Craig embarked on his journey with ProEquity in January of 2024, stepping into the role of Corporate Accountant. He holds dual degrees in Psychology from the University of Oregon and Accounting from Portland State University, a unique blend that enriches his approach to financial management.

Known for his strong work ethic and collaborative spirit, Craig quickly integrated into the corporate accounting team at ProEquity, where his contributions have already garnered positive acclaim. His proactive approach and dedication to excellence make him an indispensable asset within ProEquity Asset Management.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Craig finds fulfillment in a variety of outdoor activities. He delights in hiking through scenic trails, cultivating his garden, and embarking on adventurous camping trips. His beloved Norwegian Elkhound, Loki, is a constant companion in these pursuits, adding joy to his leisure time.

Craig is enthusiastic about his role within ProEquity’s growing corporate accounting team and eagerly anticipates the opportunities ahead. He is committed to leveraging his skills and experiences to contribute to the company’s continued success. Dan joined the ProEquity team in October of 2019, bringing with him a wealth of experience in real estate accounting, with a specialized focus on commercial and multi-family properties. A proud graduate of Auburn University and a licensed CPA, Dan exemplifies dedication and expertise in his field.

Known for his infectious smile and can-do attitude, Dan is a cornerstone of ProEquity Asset Management, consistently delivering exceptional results and contributing to the company’s success.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Dan leads an active and enriching life. He finds joy in running to stay fit, immersing himself in diverse musical genres, exploring literature that broadens his horizons, strategizing over a game of chess, and bonding over sports with friends.

Family holds a special place in Dan’s heart, and he treasures every opportunity to travel with them, creating lasting memories and fostering strong bonds. He prioritizes quality time with loved ones, recognizing its importance in maintaining a balanced and fulfilling life.

Ben Lefever

Accounting Manager

Benjamin Lefever is one of ProEquity’s longest-standing and most valuable employees, having joined the company in January 2013. As Accounting Manager, Ben oversees the Property Management division’s accounting staff and provides crucial accounting support for the company’s Investment Portfolio. His exceptional sense of humor and collaborative spirit make him a delight to work with, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Ben graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 1999 and initially pursued a career in mechanical engineering. However, his academic journey saw him exploring various fields, from engineering to architecture to philosophy, before he took a break to tour full-time as a musician with a Sacramento-based artist. This adventure took him to nearly all 50 states, Canada, and England. In 2007, Ben discovered his passion and talent for financial accounting, leading him to re-enroll in college and earn his Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy in 2012.

Born into a military family, Ben has lived in over 25 different locations across six states. These diverse experiences have contributed to his adaptable and resilient nature. He now resides in the Boise suburb of Nampa, ID, with his wife Laicee and their two children. In his free time, Ben enjoys woodworking and remodeling his home, showcasing his artistic talents and eye for detail.

On a personal level, Ben’s dedication to his family and his hobbies reflects his balanced approach to life. His ability to merge professional excellence with personal fulfillment makes him a well-rounded and inspiring individual.

Mark Denholm

Mark Denholm

Managing Director

Mark joined ProEquity Asset Management to help launch the firm’s investment sales brokerage business where he also plays a hands-on role representing both buyers and sellers across all asset types. In addition, he assists in underwriting national investment opportunities.

Mark began his real estate career as a retail investment sales associate at CB Richard Ellis, and he hit the ground running earing Rookie of the Year honors. From there he went on to co-found Core Commercial in 2008, a retail investment and leasing firm. He was responsible for the firm’s day-to-day operations, as well as servicing the needs of his clients. Mark’s initial focus was on retail investment sales and acquisitions in Northern California and Nevada but expanded to also include multi-family, office and nationwide single tenant net leased assets. Mark has regularly been recognized as one of the top investment sales brokers by the Associate of Commercial Real Estate (ACRE). He credits that success to persistence, responsiveness, compassion, humility and always putting client’s needs above all else.

Mark graduated from Cal Poly, SLO in 1991 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. While there, he was an active student leader and founding member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He later earned an MBA from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business with an emphasis in Finance and Real Estate, and he is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).

He and his wife Judi, now empty nesters, have three children. Mark coached his two boys throughout their baseball careers until they began college and also served on the board for the Oak Ridge High School Foundation, where he helped to raise more than $700,000 for curriculum and campus improvements. During their free time, Mark and Judi enjoy riding their e-bikes, following their boys around the country as they continue their baseball careers, and supporting their daughter who is currently studying nursing.
